Lindsay William-Ross is a writer/editor living in Vancouver, Canada
Lindsay has a BA in English and a MA in English, both from California State University in Los Angeles, where she taught Composition and Creative Writing for 3 years.
Excerpts from Lindsay’s original personal blog were published in a UK-based anthology in 2003.
A professional writer and editor with over a decade of experience in web writing, Lindsay has been the Food Editor of Daily Hive, Senior Editor of Vancity Buzz, and Editor-in-Chief of LAist, and has written for L.A. Weekly’s food blog "Squid Ink," KCRW’s “Good Food” blog, and was profiled on Mediabistro’s Fishbowl L.A. site.
Lindsay has appeared on numerous panels about PR, social media, and blogging, as well as on TV and radio.
A life-long “foodie” from before that was the word for it, Lindsay has a certificate in Professional Cooking from the New School of Cooking in Culver City, California, and is an avid eater, food photographer, cookbook hoarder, and seasoned culinary competition judge.
Her areas of interest include food, local history, news, education, arts and events, and the environment.
Born in Vancouver, raised in Toronto and Los Angeles, Lindsay returned to her hometown in 2013, where she is a single mom to her son, Nolan, and their cat, Hank.
